In this process-oriented workshop, you'll create a stitch vocabulary sampler that includes all the basic free-motion embroidery techniques that you'll then bind into a cool booklet for reference. Some of the skill sets you'll learn are: working with thick and thin thread, free motion Applique', bobbin work, cut-away appliqué', machine beading, couching and stippling. As soon as all the details are ironed out, you'll be able to sign up…
We all have lots of rulers in our sewing spaces, but how many of them have we actually used? Kelly Harvey, who has trained with Deb Tucker's Studio 180 rulers, along with workshop chairs Lori Levar and Ann Unes will demonstrate how to use a variety of rulers. If you have one you need help with, let us know and we will try to help! Lunch is on your own, or bring it from home.
Program details will be announced soon.
